o     The Holy Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God, sufficient and authoritative for all matters of faith, life, and godliness.

o     The Trinity of the Godhead: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, one in essence but distinct in personality.

o      The pre-eminence of Jesus Christ as our Savior, Lord, and Master; Jesus Christ is the incarnate, Divine Son of God, being fully God and fully Man in one person.

o     The supreme authority of the Word of God and its absolute and sole sufficiency as our only rule in determining faith and practice

o     The beautiful, symbolic ordinance of the believers baptism by immersion in obedience to the command of Christ

o     The ordinance of the Lord’s Supper in remembrance of His atoning death and in anticipation of His return

o     The complete independence of the local church and its interdependence in associated fellowship with other churches and ministries of like faith

o     The spiritual unity of all believers

o     A worldwide program of evangelism in obedience to the final command of our Lord

o     The expectation of Christ’s visible return

o     The dignity of all human life and the need of every person to experience forgiveness of sin through being born again into the family of God

o     Human sexuality  is designed for physical expression only in the bonds of marriage between a man and a woman.  Only marriage between a man and a woman is recognized in this church.

o     Marriage has been instituted by God. This church defines “marriage” as the exclusive covenantal union of a man and a woman in which such union is a lifetime commitment. A civil government’s sanction of a union will be recognized as a legitimate marriage by the church only to the extent that it is consistent with the definition of “marriage” found in these Articles.

o     Legitimate sexual relations are exercised solely within marriage. Hence, sexual relations outside of marriage (referred to in the new testament as porneia) including, but not limited to, adultery, premarital sex, homosexuality, and pedophilia are inconsistent with the teachings of the Bible and the church.  Further, lascivious conduct, transgender behavior, and the creation, distribution, or viewing of pornography are incompatible with the biblical witness.

o     Every minister, board member, or employee shall affirm their agreement with the core beliefs statement and shall conduct themselves in a manner that is consistent therewith.  This shall be a prerequisite and continual condition for holding these positions.
